After our long summer trip to NY and back, I had a slight miscalculation when unhooking the trailer from the truck — the break away switch got tangled around the hitch and pulled the actuator out. It wouldn’t have been that bad, but we popped the wire right off of the actuator, so I could not just reuse it; I had to buy a new one and install it. So I spent about 20 minutes taking off the old and putting on the new…..note to self: not only disconnect shore power, but disconnect the battery as well…LOL….shocking discovery that the break controller still had power running through it…LOL.
Tomorrow will be spent cleaning and sweeping out the camper, doing sheets and getting the inside ready for the weekend trail ride!! I know that Sandra is coming for sure, and I hope that Patrick can make it! He has a job interview tomorrow with Lowe’s, I just hope that all goes well for him (which in turn, goes well for me!).
