To tell you how I feel how about you
Yes it’s the day of love
“Cupid’s Day” that is true.
No amount of chocolate
or no amount of flowers
Can display to others
A love for each other like ours.
We’ve been through all types of storms
Hurricanes, floods, and Fire.
Both figuratively and literally
But our love shines bright through the muck and mire.
So I tell you that I love you
More than once every day.
It’s just not three words
That is easy to say.
It’s three words that mean
you are the world to me.
And that is something
that I want everyone to see.
You are such a beautiful woman
And you make me so proud.
So I don’t need a special day
to stand up and yell so loud.
Because I hope I say it
and show that my words are true…
