We checked into our AirBnB, and this is one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have visited, there were many amenities here…organic 2% milk, apple juice, yogurts, waffles, coffees and teas, and other items. The owners are also followers of Sandra on Youtube, and there are a couple of the owner’s original pieces of art in the area as well! King size bed is a plus, too!!!

Sandra’s filming went great, can’t wait to see the finished product! Tuesday night was the recording of the online class that Matt will be marketing towards his Thriving Christian Group!!

Saturday, we were in Hillsborough for the Art in the Heart of Hillsborough.  It was our first outdoor art/craft festival, so it was a good learning experience.  We parked the camper at Jordan Lake (Crosswinds Recreational Area) since both places were about 30 minutes from there, yet over an hour and a half from the house.  We set up early Saturday and spent the day talking to people and trying to sell!!

Although we did not sell as much as we would have liked, we did learn a lot about getting ready for festivals…..and I hope that we can do some more and I really enjoyed the camping part!!!

Sandra was in a Jurored show, Big Fun Art at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center, in Dowell Maryland.  She had 2 pieces of art in the show!!  We went to the reception and met a couple other artists, and Sandra got to see other works of art, and maybe even got an idea or two for future projects!!

Sandra and  I were supposed to spend 2 nights in Southern Maryland, but Priceline messed up our reservations, plus the hotel we were staying in really wasn’t of the caliber that you would expect from that chain.  So we went to Solomon’s Island and had a good lunch on the water at The Pier.

Afterwards, I wanted to take some pictures of the surrounding area, but it was a dreary, cold day.  

Soon after lunch, it started to sleet and we decided since this is a Holiday Weekend, we would just drive north until we hit the snow!!  We drove through Washington, and traffic sucked….LOL, re-enforcing my desires to never have to work or live there.

We ended up driving north to Frederick Maryland, grabbed a hotel room and went to grab dinner.  We checked out a couple places, but finally sat down at a bar/grill that had live music.  I tried the Fish and Chips, and Sandra got a Kid’s Fish Sandwich (we believe it was blackened catfish).  We listened to the music a little and then headed back to the hotel.

We are currently determining our route home, and whether or not we are in a great hurry to get there…LOL……

I decided to hang my present from Sandra above the mantle, so anyone that comes to our house can enjoy the painting as much as I do!!
