Spent 5 days in Uhwarrie National Forest on the game lands hunting with some friends.   I think it was more of a camping trip for me than it was a hunting trip…LOL.  It was great to be with friends and have some time in the woods to reflect.  The weather went from cold to warm back to cold!!  The wind picked up and the leaves hitting the tent almost sounded like rain.  It was a fabulous 5 days!!

Had a great weekend at RV Resort @ Carolina Crossroads in Roanoke Rapics, NC. The campground was well-maintained and we had a great group of friends to be with!!

RVillage is a multifaced tool for RVers and the businesses that server RVers,  A great site for networking, sharing, and connecting with like-minded folks!!
The site is great for finding local people, groups, and camping locations, as well as discussions on RV and RVing topics!!

We are members of the Charlotte Camping Couples and are looking forward to meeting new friends!

Spent another wonderful weekend camping with friends and acquaintances.  We started Friday evening having dinner at Holt Lake  Bar-b-que and Seafood.

Sandra and I then enjoyed the evening together listening to the thunder and the rain on the trailer roof.  Sandra could not sleep, so she stayed up and did her Art Business (https://www.sandralett.com) things.

Saturday morning we had breakfast and our meeting in the new rally room.  It is a wonderful space with much room for out association.

Saturday we spent getting our camp in order, and then meeting with Wit and Shirley, two possible new members that I know from work.  We sat and talked with them as they were setting up their camp.  

After dinner, Raleigh Oaks RV Resort and Cottages had a band playing music, so we went and spent the evening there have fun and dancing!

Now it’s Sunday morning, and it’s time to pack up and head home.  I really like camping in my travel trailer with Sandra and Squirt, and hope that we continue the trips as we can!!

Coffee and bacon started on the outdoor grill, eggs to follow!! What a wonderful way to start your Saturday morning!!

No better way to start a day than making yourself breakfast outdoors and relaxing under the awning for some eggs and coffee!!!
